Fees and payment
Because we are a not-for-profit, WCOOSC aims to balance providing quality care with keeping fees as low as possible.
Registration fee
An annual registration fee of $50 per family is payable at the beginning of each school year or on enrolment, if later.
Before school care
Permanent care: $18.50 per child per day
Casual care: $24 per child per day
After school care
Permanent care: $28.00 per child per day
Casual care: $33.60 per child per day
Vacation care
Incursion days: $67.85
Excursion days: $83.50 plus an additional fee if required.
Non-notification fee
No sign out fee
We charge a fee of $20 for not telling us your child will be absent from after school care. Safety is our number one priority and knowing your child is absent stops us thinking they’ve gone missing!
We charge a fee of $20 for parents who do not sign out their child at pickup. This is a legal requirement and must be completed correctly each time.
Late pickup fee
From 6.01pm we charge an additional $20 per child, adding $20 for every additional 15 minutes they remain at WCOOSC.
Cancellations
No fee will be charged, provided you give us 1 week’s notice for before and after-school care cancellations and 2 weeks' notice for vacation care cancellations. Otherwise, you will be charged the full relevant day rate.
Payment
Statements are payable within 7 days. Payment is by Direct Debit and is taken every Thursday.
Cancellations
Please cancel your booking by submitting an Xplor absence request as soon as possible.
Before and After School Care: If the centre receives at least one week notice of your cancellation, you will not be charged.
Vacation Care: If the centre receives at least 2 weeks’ notice of your cancellation, you will not be charged. We ask for a longer notice period because we need to confirm additional staff.
Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
CSS is a means-tested subsidy available for children aged 13 or younger attending approved child care. It can significantly reduce the cost of out of school care. Our services are CCS approved so we encourage you to contact Services Australia to see if your family is eligible.
